Flyckts Recept is a place for anyone who loves great food, honest flavour and restaurants worth recommending. This is where I collect my own recipes, food ideas and restaurant tips, always with a focus on quality, taste and the experience itself.

I'm a happy home cook with a big passion for food, wine and drinks. To me, cooking is creativity, craft and curiosity all at once. I happily nerd out on details like how to get a true New York–style pizza, which potato variety makes the best fries, how to build depth of flavour in a ramen broth, or why a specific technique makes such a difference in the final result.

Food should be enjoyable, but it doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes it's about long-fermented doughs, precise temperatures and careful technique. Sometimes it's just about great ingredients, simple cooking and a feel for balance. Flyckts Recept has room for both.

I like to understand why something tastes good. That's why the recipes aren't only ingredients and steps, but also notes on technique, ingredient choices and the small details that make a difference.

Restaurant reviews — only the places I genuinely like

I only publish restaurants I actually think are good. If a place doesn't hold up, it simply doesn't make the site.

Each restaurant is judged within its own category — a Neapolitan pizzeria is compared to other great pizzerias, a ramen bar to other ramen bars, a tiny local spot to other places of its kind, not to a fine dining restaurant.

Food, travel and curiosity

A lot of the inspiration comes from travelling, eating out and being curious about different food cultures — from local diners and street food to wine bars, craft pizza and restaurants where every detail is dialled in.
